apologies in advance - this one is a bit less thought out than some of my other writing. tbh I don't even want to be writing this right now. but the reason im reluctantly slapping these keys is quite fitting given todays topic.
Consistency.
I'm starting to think consistency is the single most important factor in winning whatever game you are playing. can you show up every day for years and just do the shit that needs to be done? if you can its hard to lose.
its important to note applying consistency to the wrong games will get you nowhere.
you can consistently show up to a 9-5 that you hate. you can consistently smash your head into a brick wall.
if you want to be the #1 cranium brick smasher in the US of A, thats fine! so long as you've carefully chosen cranium brick smashing as the game you want to win.
here are the games where im currently focusing my consistency:
- health (u only get one body brother)
- building software (obvious reasons)
- writing (for accountability and to clarify my thinking).
now back to my original question. why aren't you shredded?
maybe you are.
if you are its because you've been consistent.
consistently hitting the gym. consistently eating right. consistently prioritizing your health.
if not? well should be pretty obvious.
here's a protocol that might help you change that. Fitness
i'll leave you with one last thought bc my tired brain couldn't figure out how to fit it in
too many people waste time looking for shortcuts. when they really just need to start fucking walking.
